Blind man healed on TV

edited December 1969 in Faith Issues
Hi,

I just wanted to tell everyone about this remarkable miracle that happened last week in Egypt:

My cousin in Egypt just told us that Fr. Makari Younan healed a blind muslim man in Church last week.

The video of it is on YouTube, you can hear his mother screaming in the Church when her son starts to see again. Its quite touching actually.

Im glad that our Church is helping out muslims, healing them, praying for them, and blessing them, but I was just wondering if any of this will help them stop hating us for being Christian??

Glory be to our Lord!

  • It won't make a difference.  There was a man [Who shall remain nameless] who:

    --gave sight to the blind
    --speech to the dumb
    --hearing to the deaf
--raised some people from the dead
    --made food
    --made wine
    --cured lepers
    --removed demons

    AND they still CRUCIFIED HIM.

    Explain that to me.
  • Well put, ilovesaintmark.
  • The end is now, this is why nobody cares about anything but themselves. We are on a course of an economic and social cataclysm the likes of which have never been seen, its pretty easy to see, yet everyone still busy's themselves with distractions. Giving sight to a blind muslim, he still gets to go home to his 20 wives. Its not going to change his faith at all.
  • I don't know Ioannes, maybe 20 wives is punishment in itself.  I think it lends itself for a reasonable argument to prove that there is purgatory on earth.

Before every female gets on my case, it was purely a joke in bad taste, but what the heck I'm allowed one every once in a while.

And I'm not going to apologize if anyone asks me.

    Fixed.
  • Meena,

  • Anytime, good sir.
