And then my friend started talking about how a priest came to our church that was from Egypt, and was visiting this boy's house and at the same time he was at Egypt doing a liturgy. Second question: Can any person on earth really be two places at once? I know that my friend won't lie to me (at least not too much)....but I don't necessarily think that this monk or priest could be here in America, and Egypt in the EXACT same second. My friend mentioned that is is called sowah or sowa7
This certainly is possible, and it is known that Pope Kyrillos was often found in more than one place at a time. Sowa7 are people who have reached such a high rank where there spirit is no longer held down by their body ("For the flesh lusts against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh; and these are contrary to one another, so that you do not do the things that you wish."). Therefore through God's grace they can move very far in a second. Examples are Abouna Yostos of St. Antony Monastery, Abouna Abdel Messih of the town of Manahra, and Abouna Armanios whose story is here: http://tasbeha.org/content/community/index.php?topic=9729.0
It most certainly isn't wrong to talk about being Coptic to a someone who isn't a Copt. If they ask, by all means, tell them!
Also, there have been stories of people seeing the Body as actual flesh during communion. It's certainly possible. I heard a story about blood and water flowing out of a tiny little whole that was in the bread. That kind of stuff does happen.
