I have heard of Papa PAOK before, but did not know he was getting in trouble for his actions and notoriety.

Was it because of the Yourube videos saying he was God that he has gotten in trouble? Or just for attending the matches?

i think it was mainly b/c he was at the matches and the celebrations etc- the hooliganism aspect mostly.
as the article said the church authorities reacted a lil bit condescending and facist like.

the priest is a huge icon for the fans, and since he is a priest im guessing thats why they called him god.  but i doubt there is any real meaning of him being god incarnate in that.

Thank you. This has really helped me understand why there were problems at Chalcedon between us and the Greek Orthodox.
