I was just wondering why copts say the lord's prayer after every prayer, instead of just ending with a simple "amen" like all others do. is there any reason why we do this?
Luke 11:1-3 (New King James Version): 1 Now it came to pass ... that one of His disciples said to Him, "Lord, teach us to pray, as John also taught his disciples." 2 So He said to them, "When you pray, say: Our Father in heaven, Hallowed be Your name.... :D
There would never be a perfect prayer that is worthy of GOD. So whenever we ask and entreat, we perfect it with the, as we all call it, "The Lord's Prayer."
