There are no requirements - it is all a matter of God's grace. We cannot earn our way to heaven or act in a way that means that we can demand entry.
Nevertheless, it is right and proper for us to offer our whole lives to God in obedient and faithful service, asking that he will have mercy on us. Yet having done all that God asks of us we can say no more than that we have done our duty. We can make no demands of God.
But in a real sense, if we not already living in the presence of God now then we are not ready to stand in his presence in the hereafter. The question we should ask is not if we will enter heaven after we die, but if we are already living in the foretaste of heaven now.
