"Blessed are the pure in Heart for they shall see God" Matthew 5:8
I think it's very clear from that verse that the pure in Heart have a special treatment from our Lord Jesus Christ. They're the only category who will get to "see" God. We know that God is without beginning or end, limitless, timeless, he's the alpha and the omega. Just this verse alone I can't wrap my mind around.
Purity is more than just the heart, it's the purity of all of your senses from beginning to end, it's the total devotion to God and following his word in every single act. Who might be the purest you might ask? I think I can be confident in saying that our monks and nuns are the purest. They have left the world with all of its desires and living the celibate life with Christ.
