COC Priests and Catholic Priests

Why is it that in the COC our Priests are married and in the Catholic church I am pretty sure that they are NOT allowed together?

    I am almost certain that in the early church, priests were allowed to marry as well as bishops. However, the marriage of bishops was later on ruled out. So the marriage of priests is in fact traditional. This is just one of those things the catholics decided to change among many others.
