I heard that Anba Kirellous and Fr. Abd El Massih both went to the same monastery; they knew each other as monks.

Which monastery was that? Do you know?

Do you have the story of Fr. Abd El Massih?

Isn't it really really really remarkable that both of these two saints started out in the same monastery??

Abouna abdel messih started as a monk at the Monastery of St. Abba Makar (Macarius) the Great in the desert of Scetes

Yes.. u are right. I just checked. Pope Kirellous was indeed from Al Baramoss.

They are so blessed to have had his presence there.

I saw Bubba Kirillos movie on Tasbeha and loved it! It inspires me to strive for Christ and stay strong in praying and fasting. How old are these coptic movies and are they all made in Egypt? Where can I order some?
