my friend has a problem with his mom

he has done some bad things and hurtfull things in the past to cause his mom pain he has got in so much trouble and he is so sad so i was thinking if he wrote a letter of apprication to his mom and bought his mom a teddy bear and over the letter a picture of jesus what do you guys and gals  think?
