Other Popes

Does the ethiopian church have a pope or the Eritrian church have a pope? because we in the liturgy don't call them popes, we call them partiarch and abouna (ie Zacha Ewass 1st and Abouna Anonias the 1st) Are those their Popes or they dont have popes?

    Long story...from Saint Athanasios the First (Pope no. 20) ...but during Pope Shenouda's time, the eritrians opted to have a seperate magma3...(seperate church authority) and thus this happened...but under a certain protocol...

    First, they are to be called Father "..." the first or second or whatever, not Pope "...", also, the Pope anoits them....and finally, they are not put in line like the rest of the Popes (Shenouda III, Zaka 3ewayas, or the third one)...for obvious reasons....
