I really, really like this response but have never heard it in church before. Why do we no longer say it?  I'd also like a translation of it in English.

Obviously it's terrifying because none of us are worthy of the Holy Mysteries, but it'll definitely cause us to take a second look at ourselves before taking Communion.

It's kinda not that authentic compared to the rest of the liturgy.

There isn't a Coptic source for it. And you can't really find it in liturgical manuscripts
