thanks (rather late!) for that - i didn't find them, but previously i found a lovely russian orthodox church in porto, where i was able to chat to a lovely coptic orthodox man in arabic (i don't speak portugese) who introduced me to the priest.

now a friend from my church has moved to madeira (island owed by portugal)!

does anyone know of any orthodox Christians in madeira?

if not, i suppose he can go to the catholic church, may God guide him
