I'm not sure about the requirements but I can give you the short answer for the process. For two days before the selection day, a liturgy will be held asking for the Holy Spirit to bless the future pope and help the church. On the selection day (day 3) a liturgy will be held with a glass bowl with the 3 final candidates on the altar. At the conclusion of the liturgy, a young child is blindfolded and brought to the bowl. The child draws a name and that is the name of the new Patriarch. The ordination rites are in the Coptic Reader app made by the South US Diocese under "Special>Consecrations>Ordinations>Patriarch"
