Synod's Kiahk Hymns Unification

Hi all,

I recently found that on http://www.copticchurch.net, on the main page, there is a section for the decided unified kaiak hymns. Most of them are from people like Cantor Mikhail El-Batanouni, or Cantor Fahim or these old guys. Does anyone know if theres a source we can get these from so we can listen and learn? Other than HCOC's productions, I've never really seen any of the old recordings.

Some of the hymns are not available to share. Maybe by next Kiahk :-)

Wait so does that mean that what the Holy Synod is doing isn't for application yet? Also will there be a file source for deacons or cantors abroad to do the adjustments? Last question, any word on which rite they will pursue next?

I just found a link which was some of the hymns accurately, but for some of them, they just put other people instead. It's better than nothing, nonetheless, it's still unofficial

No. The decision is official but we on tasbeha didn't upload any files for the sources refernced. We are not in direct connection to that committee. The info on the homescreen was translated from the arabic that was shared on facebook.

And yes, David Bebawy has most of these sources--i forgot about that :-)

This is great but I'm not able to download from 4shared. Any way you can zip them up and share them on google drive, dropbox or mediafire.com instead?

1- download 4shared desktop app on your pc 

2- create free account

3- open the link

4- add them to your account

5- from your desktop account you can download all the files at once

let me know if you still need google drive or dropbox share folder.

Yes, could you please upload it on google drive or dropbox or something else. I am having trouble downloading it from 4shared on my mac.
