Does any one know the name of the Church Father that said: I teach nothing of my own but what I was taught? I am paraphrasing the quote as I couldn’t remember neither the exact quote nor who said it ???
[quote author=Athanasius the Apostolic] In accordance with the Apostolic Faith delivered to us by tradition from the Fathers, I have delivered the tradition, without inventing anything extraneous to it. What I have learned, that I inscribed, comfortably with the Holy Scriptures.

Is that roughly what you were referring to?

I am not sure where St. Athanasios said it, but he is quoted on the following pages: http://www.serfes.org/orthodox/whatistheorthodoxchurch.htm and http://www.serfes.org/orthodox/scripturesinthechurch.htm.
This is note the quote I was looking for, but it will do the job. I am sure it will come to me and if it does I will post it here :)
