I think this hymn is about the crowns that the saint receives. I'm positive that one of the crowns is a crown of martyrdom which means that this hymn cannot be said for EVERY saint (not all of them were martyrs).
I'm just curious - what are the alternative renditions of this hymn for NON martyrs?
