The Sagda Prayers

Hi everyone. I know I'm late but why do commemorate the departed at the Sagda? I don't understand the correlation between departure and the sending of the Holy Spirit.

Pentecost is not only a Feast Day, but a Foundational Anniversary.  It is the founding of the Church.
The Church is defined as the:  "Church Victorious" (the reposed) and the "Mission Church" (on earth).
