I wanted to share the Names of the Seven sundays with you i know we are nearly finished but i think it would be helpfull for next year too ;D

So here they are:)

First Sunday of Lent
THE TREASURE
(Mt 6:19-23)

Second Sunday of Lent
THE TEMPTATION
(Mt 4:1-11)

Third Sunday of Lent
THE PRODIGAL(LOST)SON
(Lk 15:11-32)

Fourth Sunday Lent
THE SAMARITAN WOMAN
(Jn 4:1-42)

Fifth Sunday of Lent
THE LAME MAN
(Jn 5 1-18)

Sixth Sunday of Lent
THE BAPTISM(Healing of the blind man)
(Jn 9 1-41)

Seventh Sunday of Lent
PALM SUNDAY

(Mk.11:1-11
Mt 21:1-17)

    i have a question....why do we have a baptism sunday during lent? don't we celebrate the baptism of the Lord during epiphany after Christmas?

    it's the sunday of the man born blind......the reason we "call" it baptism is of what happen to the man. he "washed" his eyes, God CREATED eyes for him through his faith, and that for resembles baptism. doesn't it?!

    many consider this the most powerful miracle our Lord performed because in it He "Created" eyes from nothing. shows His divinity.
