Tunic/tonia

I read somewhere (cant remember where) that tonias used to be anointed with mayron. Is that true or can anyone correct me?

    I heard that too, but is there any english source for that?
    Also, I was talking with some older deacons and I heard that there are different colour
    stoles (badrasheels) for different occasions...I think gold is feast, green is like baptism,
    nativity and epiphany, red is annual, blue is paschal...Is there any english source for that aswell?
    If there is, why has this tradition stopped?

    Apparently it was because people didn't respect the tonia or something like that
