For he is the head of monasticism, and of worship and virtues.
Ϫⲉ ⲛ̀ⲑⲟϥ ⲡⲉ: ⲡ̀ⲁⲣⲭⲏⲅⲟⲥ: ⲛⲉⲙ ⲛⲓⲡⲟⲗⲏⲧⲓⲁ: ⲛ̀ⲧⲉ ⲛⲓⲁ̀ⲣⲉⲧⲏ.
لأنه رئيس الرهبنة والعبادات والفضائل.
He is the first who paved the road to the wilderness, so that we may draw near to God

وصرت مثل إنسان ينظر إلى حسن فَلَك السماء المزين بكثرة النجوم.
Now, I cry out in spirit, and say: “O our Lord, open my lips and my mouth shall declare your praise.”
Ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲥⲁⲧⲟⲧ ⲉⲓⲱϣ ⲉ̀ⲃⲟⲗ: ϧⲉⲛ ⲡⲓⲡ̀ⲛⲉⲩⲙⲁ ⲉⲓϫⲱ ⲙ̀ⲙⲟⲥ: ϫⲉ Ⲡⲉⲛϭⲟⲓⲥ ⲁ̀ⲟⲩⲱⲛ ⲛ̀ⲛⲁⲥⲫⲟⲧⲟⲩ: ⲉ̀ⲣⲉ ⲣⲱⲓ ϫⲱ ⲙ̀ⲡⲉⲕⲥ̀ⲙⲟⲩ.
وللوقت أصرخ وأقول: "يا رب افتح شفتاي لينطق فمي بتسبحتك."
May we steadfast in the orthodox faith of the great St. Antony; he proclaims, saying:
Ⲙⲁⲣⲉⲛⲧⲁϫⲣⲟⲛ ϩⲓϫⲉⲛ ⲡⲓⲛⲁϩϯ: ⲉⲧⲥⲟⲩⲧⲱⲛ ϧⲉⲛ ⲟⲩⲙⲉⲑⲙⲏⲓ: ⲛ̀ⲧⲉ ⲡⲓⲛⲓϣϯ Ⲁⲛⲧⲱⲛⲓⲟⲥ: ⲉϥⲱϣ ⲉ̀ⲃⲟⲗ ⲉϥϫⲱ ⲙ̀ⲙⲟⲥ.
فلنثبت على الأمانة المستقيمة بالحقيقة التي للعظيم أنطونيوس، إذ يصرخ ويقول:
“I asked and I received, I sought and I found, I knocked and I believed that it will be opened for me.”
Ϫⲉ ⲁⲓⲉⲣⲉ̀ⲧⲓⲛ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁⲓϭⲓ: ⲁⲓⲕⲱϯ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁⲓϫⲓⲙⲓ: ⲁⲓⲕⲱⲗϩ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ϯⲛⲁϩϯ: ϫⲉ ⲥⲉⲛⲁⲑⲟⲩⲱⲛ ⲛⲏⲓ.
"سألت فأخذت طلبت فوجدت قرعت وأنا أؤمن أن يُفتح لي."
For whenever the thought of Antony comes to my heart, I become like one whose mind was carried off high to heaven,
Ⲕⲉ ⲅⲁⲣ ⲁϥϣⲁⲛⲓ̀ ⲉ̀ⲡⲁϩⲏⲧ: ⲛ̀ϫⲉ ⲡ̀ⲉⲣⲫ̀ⲙⲉⲩⲓ ⲛ̀Ⲁⲛⲧⲱⲛⲓⲟⲥ: ⲁϥⲉⲣⲙ̀ⲫ̀ⲣⲏϯ ϫⲉ ⲉ̀ⲧⲁⲩϩⲱⲗⲉⲙ: ⲙ̀ⲡⲁⲛⲟⲩⲥ ⲉ̀ⲡ̀ϣⲱⲓ ⲉ̀ⲧ̀ⲫⲉ.
لأنه إذا أتى على قلبي فكر أنطونيوس، أصير مثل مَنْ خُطف عقله إلى أعلى السماء.
where there is a remembrance of Antony, for he praises God with joy along with the chorus of saints.
